DAY 38 Gold, silver, gold

February 24th, 2010

The Olympics dominate the news front. ‘How did this team or that player do’, ‘who won what’ and ‘what is total medal count for each country’ are the type of questions that headlines aim to answer. Amidst all the competition and the sportsmanship floating in the air, we can certainly draw inspiration from the daily proof of what dedication, hard work and passion can help accomplish.

Our team has also been working with definit gold medal spirit on various events relating to the auction. We will have art pieces by four local artists. You have all already seen some of Nuwan’s work, here is a website for you to check out two of the other artists who are also generously donating pieces to our auctions: http://www.garillaarts.com.

I would also like to welcome a new member to our team. Larisa has joined us offering entertainment services for parties. Welcome aboard dancing divas! Its great to have you with us.

That’s all for tonight folks, wish you a great night’s rest. We count on every last bit  of your strenghts in the coming days :)

Testimonials

"Hi, I'm a medical doctor and researcher at University of Toronto. When I first heard about Toronto Works For Haiti, the idea just blew me away. Selflessly dedicating time and energy to help people in need is such a beautiful idea and a powerful image. It provides a much greater bond than donating money alone. On top of that, Toronto Works For Haiti delivers expert service with the warm feeling of doing the right thing. These are the reasons why I proudly support the excellent work of TW4H."

"I needed photos of myself for my business website and TW4H put me in touch with a great photographer. Elliot really put me at ease during the shoot and the result is photos that are probably the best photos I've ever had of myself. Thanks."
